Apricot Care Directors and staff share a vision of embracing the Social Enterprise principles to create meaningful and lasting economic, social and environmental change in our region.
Our aims and objectives will be supported by a programme of lifelong learning and workforce development in conjunction with local partners such as Wolverhampton Council, Job Centre Plus, Wolverhampton College and Wolverhampton University. The service areas covered will be for older people, adults with disabilities (physical, learning, sensory impairment) and adults with mental health needs.
We have an excellent team of highly skilled professional care staff to look after our clients. All staff in the organisation are competent and trained to undertake the activities for which they are employed and responsible for. Care workers will build on their previous experience and qualifications, and undergo continuous training to ensure we continue to deliver the highest quality and up-to-date service. The training will include appropriate health and safety issues such as food preparation, hygiene, and manual handling.
